About Us

Bridging the Gap

The Rezvan Foundation is dedicated to our mission of supporting the higher education pursuits of exceptional against-all-odds students who have faced the challenges of foster care. Our comprehensive support aims to break the cycle, change the trajectory, and make a lasting impact on our scholars' lives, not just today, but for generations to come.

We Go Further.

Our organization grants up to $100,000 per recipient to outstanding, underserved students, making it one of the highest individual college scholarship awards in the country. By adopting a depth-over-breadth approach, we provide comprehensive support to a select few exceptional scholars, rather than partially assisting a larger number of recipients.

We Are Committed.

We believe that effective support requires a full commitment to changing the academic, career, and success trajectory of each outstanding student we award. Recognizing that many foster care students "age out of the system" without a reliable network of family or community support, we understand that funding alone is not enough. The heart and soul of our organization, the Rezvan Foundation Mentorship Program, provides ongoing one-on-one mentorship and support throughout a Rezvan Scholar’s entire four-year college career.

We Are Citizen Changemakers.

Our “it takes a village” philosophy means that everyone has a role in creating a supportive community. Whether covering the costs of tuition, housing, books, and supplies or funding
the Mentorship Program, every contribution—large or small—helps set our Rezvan Scholars up
for success.
